    Botox® 100 U

    Product Description

BOTOX® is a botulinum type A product. A wrinkle injection that treats glabellar lines and other wrinkles by temporarily blocking the release of acetylcholine from nerves, helping prevent muscle movement in the area and relaxing the skin.

    Presentation/Quantity

Each BOTOX® package contains 1 vial of white powder for solution.

    Main Benefits

Botox® is a household name in smoothening out unwanted dynamic wrinkles. With Botox® injections into the facial muscles, it relaxes the look of glabellar lines and crow’s feet. Medically, these BOTOX® products may be used to relieve persistent muscle spasms caused by muscle disorders, chronic migraines, excessive sweating, and leakage of urine (urinary incontinence).

    Ingredients

This BOTOX® formula includes Botulinum toxin type A, human albumin, and sodium chloride.

    Ingredient Information

OnabotulinumtoxinA is a neurotoxin that blocks the release of acetylcholine from the nerves. It temporarily prevents muscle contraction, inducing relaxation. When injected into facial muscles, it softens the overlying skin, reducing dynamic folds and wrinkles.
This ingredient is sourced from Clostridium botulinum bacteria, which is known to cause botulism. Due to its muscle-relaxing effects, these BOTOX® products are also used medically to ease muscle spasms, treat hyperhidrosis, and reduce symptoms of overactive bladder.

    Use Information

For moderate to severe glabellar lines, inject a dose of 0.1mL into each of the 5 indicated sites (2 in each corrugator muscle and 1 in procerus muscle).
Other dosages are tailored according to the issue to be treated. For excessive sweating of the armpits 50 units should be used.
