Last weekend, Monaco was home to the 21st edition of the Aesthetic & Anti-Aging Medicine World Congress (AMWC).
The annual show, the biggest globally of its kind, was an opportunity to learn what’s trending in the world of aesthetic medicine and get firsthand experience with all the latest products. We also listened to over 250 speakers who shared their experiences and expertise with other industry folks.
On the show floor, manufacturers and other companies involved in the industry displayed their top products. Among them, the biggest standouts were Fillmed and Filorga, Aptos, Vivacy Paris, Merz Aesthetics, Croma, and Teoxane, with Germany-based Mesoestetic a rising star among the industry staples. Many offered free samples once visitors got their badges scanned – an excellent tactic for increasing their customer base.
The most prominent products were dermal fillers, medical devices, and thread mesotherapy. PRP treatments and hydrafacials were also prevalent at the show. These treatments were advertised as alternatives to Botox. As we’ve seen across the industry, they’re already being used alongside more traditional facelifting methods and products.
The AMWC was the place for interested parties to see what’s trending and coming soon in the beauty industry, and learn about the best products. For example, the Fillmed NTCF 135 was crowned the best in class among injectable products for skin revitalization.

Over 12,000 people visited the AMWC over the 3 days this year, making it the biggest edition of the show so far.
