Profhilo H+L is the first stabilized hyaluronic acid based product that is created without using
chemical cross-linking agents. It can be used for skin remodelling and the treatment of skin
laxity, and not just for smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. This product can greatly improve tissue
quality even in challenging areas and can be used in conjunction with other aesthetic treatments
and dermal filler procedures.
Profhilo is manufactured by IBSA.
Profhilo stimulates the production of collagen by naturally stimulating the body’s receptors. This
product stimulates 4 different kinds of collagen and elastin, causing skin to look tighter almost
instantly. After a second treatment, new collagen and elastin will be apparent and the client’s
face will look more lifted.
Profhilo is used to treat skin laxity and improve skin quality almost anywhere on the body. Some
applications for this is:
● elimination of “hamster-like” cheeks
● restoration of facial contours
● slimming facial features
● tightening sagging skin
● increasing skin suppleness and elasticity
● minimizing vertical and horizontal wrinkles on the face
Administration of Profhilo is done by trained and licensed practitioners using the Bio Aesthetic
Points technique. Five injection sites are identified on each side of the face to maximize the
spreadability of the product.
Initially, two treatment sessions with a 1-month interval in between. The product can then be
topped up and maintained based on the client’s response to treatment.
Thanks to the purity of the hyaluronic acid, visible effects of the treatment can last between 1 to
1.5 years.
Profhilo is considered to be an “ultrapure” grade of hyaluronic acid. It is produced using a
patented biofermentation process of Streptococcus Zooepidemicus. It is considered the world’s
top quality in purity, safety, and its resistance to thermal production processes.
Use of Profhilo should be avoided if the client:
● has hypersensitivity/allergy to one of the components
● has a skin infection near the injection site
● has susceptibility to keloid formation
● is pregnant or lactating
● has a bleeding disorder
● has an autoimmune disorder
● is undergoing antibiotic therapy
It is recommended to consult a doctor or medical professional before starting treatment
